Ruth the Horse needs a home

Ruth is a molly mule that came to us with one other mule and 2 horses. She is NOT halter broke and is very shy around people. She would do best in a home with experience in breaking mules or where she could be used as protection for a livestock herd. Since mules naturally do not tolerate canines in their pasture, we recommend she not go to a home where dogs have access to the pasture. All SPCA of Texas equines have negative Coggins results, have been on a regular deworming and farrier schedule, and have been vaccinated. Once your application is approved, our equine staff will contact you to schedule an appointment, or you may contact us at 214-461-1933. Appointments are required to ensure staff are available to help you decide the best fit for you. Ruth is located at the SPCA of Texas' Russell H. Perry Animal Care Center in McKinney, Texas. Ruth's adoption fee is $200.
